ANDY WARHOL'S FLESH - 16MM SOUND CINE FILM. This film, conceived by Warhol and Paul Morrissey, was photographed by Morrissey, using a 16mm Auricon camera, which was able to record sound directly on to the film, and had a maximum run time of 33 minutes. Morrissey included the camera's flash frames and pops, which occurred when starting and stopping the camera, as an aesthetic choice. This cult film is extremely rare. I haven't a 16mm projector, so haven't played it, but I've unwound some of it and it doesn't seem to be brittle or degenerating at all.
